There is "technical study" as technical study.
When I discuss technology scientifically, it is distinguished from means and the ability in technical study definitely.
I describe technology in the general meaning that is not academic here.
Various technique I do bending fingers of / technology in fictionization, and to use is called technique.
I can call the ability with technology a skill.
The high skill with the scarcity value is evaluated highly generally and becomes the object of the protection.
The skill and the art (means) are concepts to express ability / a function / the movement of the person.
The skill has a specific purpose and it is means / technique to achieve the purpose, but says the thing which compiled this systematically with art.
A school is derived by a person / the group which gathered it, and it is given change on the way, and a sect advances.
On the other hand, there is the movement to plan unification to avoid confusion, and there is the thing unified worldwide depending on a field.
With the engineering (Engineering), I came from an engine in the U.K. of the Industrial Revolution times and placed a steam engine in those days.
I came to call the person whom I maintained production / operation / repair, and improved a steam engine an engineer.
As for the current meaning, there is an aim (a goal) called the (I do design (design) / construction (build)) to make a tool (a tool) and a system (a system) to use the phenomenon of the natural world as realistic human means, and says "a method of a design and the construction" with engineering.
I say a person creating technology in law of nature and a limit of the social necessity with the engineer by the present age.
In addition, there is engineering as study of the engineering.
